Origin
The movie premiered in the United States on April 27th, 2018.
In one of the scenes, Bruce Banner and James Rhodes (portrayed by Mark Ruffalo and Don Cheadle) are walking up to Black Panther, king of Wakanda.
When Banner, aka. Hulk tries to bow to the king, he says “We don’t do that here.”
Spread and Usage
GIFs were created of the scene the same day, that were uploaded to Tumblr.
Within a month, the meme spread on to Twitter, and later to Reddit as well as the other social media platforms.
