To this day, also known as till this day refer to a viral video of Deontay Wilder giving a heated speech about the struggle of black people in an interview.

The interview was made shortly before the boxing showdown between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, by Radio Rahim.
It was uploaded to YouTube by the SecondsOut channel on November 29th, 2018, under the title “Deontay Wilder BLASTS Radio Rahim In His FACE!”.
In the final section of the video, Radio Rahim asks the boxer to explain his words about his people fighting for four hundred years, to which Wilder gets wilder and eventually exclaims, the struggle is continuing “To this day” multiple times.
Spread and Usage
The part of the interview, containing the “To this day” quote, was uploaded to Facebook by Deontay Wilder on the same day, standing by his opinion.
Shortly after this, the clip became a viral sensation and a meme, as it was shared on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
An isolated clip of “To this day” was uploaded to YouTube by Kyrie Irving on December 11th, 2018.
The popularity of the meme experienced a resurgence in February 2020, when the topic was explored in the Joe Rogan Experience podcast (RIP Joe Rogan) with the host and Radio Rahim.
