The original video, featuring the Inhaling Seagull was uploaded to YouTube by user Dimaniztlt on July 17th, 2012.
It became an exploitable image macro in 2017, starting from Twitter, spreading all over the internet.
The first case of “shut” was posted into the r/reactionpics subreddit by Reddit user u/Energizer357 on June 27th, 2019.
Spread and Usage
